PRESCHOOL CLASSROOM (2-3.5 YRS)
M/W/F or TUE/THU or M-F 8:45 AM – 11:30 AM

  • Learn to separate from parent
    Learn to sit for short periods of time
    Develop fine and gross motor control
    Potty training and other independent living skills
  • Participate in a group and play well with others
    Increase self-control and positive self-image
    Increase verbal communication and vocabulary
    Introduction to alphabet and name recognition
    Basic math concepts and independent problem solving

    • PRE-K CLASSROOM (3-5 YRS)
    M/W/F or T/Th or M-F 12:30 PM – 3:30 PM

    Demonstrate confidence in a school setting
    Develop responsibility for self and actions
    Take turns and share with others
    Recall events and tell stories
    Alphabet recognition, phonics, reading simple words
    Counting, sorting, patterning, sequencing, comparing, numeral recognition, and simple arithmetic
    Intro to science and geography
    Further creativity through art and music

    TUITION AND FEES

    ALL PROGRAMS
    ½ day x 2 days per week - $415/month
    ½ day x 3 days per week - $560/month
    ½ day x 5 days per week - $750/month

    Additional Preschool FAQs:

    1) Children age 2 and older who participate in Beginning Steps’ Early Intervention programs may be eligible to participate in the preschool program depending on suitability. Please ask program director Nora Tamasne for further information.

    2) Although our preschool is an inclusive program intended for both neurotypical children and those with special needs, it is not a special education program.
